In order to develop and enhance the food processing industries in the state, Comprehensive Agro Business Policy has been launched

Objective

The purpose of an air freight subsidy is to reduce shipping costs, promote exports, and support businesses by making air transportation more affordable and accessible.

Benefits

1) 25% subsidy on air freight for max. INR 10 lakh per year per unit (product), 2) For organic produce, upto 40% subsidy on air freight for max INR 15 lakh per year per unit.

Eligibility

Any legal entity such as Govt/PSU/Joint ventures/NGOs/Cooperatoves/SHGs/Pvt. Sector corporation/individuals engaged in agro and food processing would be eligible. However, he/she should be exportin the produce of Gujarat Origin and the application should be made within 180 days from export otherwise the application will not be considered.
