To promote complete natural farming based on indigenous cows and to provide financial assistance to farmer families to reduce their cultivation expenses.
To encourage complete natural farming based on indigenous cows and support farmer families with maintenance cost assistance for cows, thereby reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in agriculture.
The scheme provides financial assistance to farmer families for the maintenance cost of one indigenous cow, thereby encouraging complete natural farming. It helps reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, making farming more sustainable, healthy and eco-friendly. As a result, farmers can lower cultivation costs, improve soil health, enhance the quality of their produce, and potentially gain higher market value for their crops.
Eligibility Criteria: Farmer families who are engaged in complete natural farming based on indigenous (desi) cows are eligible to apply. The applicant or a family member must own at least one indigenous cow and be practicing natural farming on their registered agricultural land as per revenue records. They must also possess a valid Aadhaar card and be registered on the i-Khedut portal within the specified application period.

Aadhaar Card of the applicant (farmer). Bank Passbook (for direct benefit transfer). Land records (7/12 and 8A) showing ownership or cultivation rights. Proof of owning an indigenous (desi) cow (certificate / photo teg number if required). Passport-size photograph of the applicant. Any other document specified on the i-Khedut portal at the time of application.
